I really cannot stop listening to this

So Beyonce is the topic on everyone’s lips at the moment, specially as she’s performing here in London at the moment (no I didn’t manage to get tickets and yes I did weep). I came across some people complaining about her song bow down recently, their comments being something along the lines of “omg Bey doesn’t respect her fans anymore, I’m so offended she didn’t send me a personal thank you letter for being a fan and apologise for her lyrics upsetting me”. Really? I mean I understand that not everyone listens to hiphop, but firstly its just a song, secondly since when is every pop artist’s lyrics supposed to be entirely unoffensive? Beyonce is from Houston, home to a load of dirty south rap, trap music, etc. The point of the song is not that she’s calling everyone personally names, its a manner of speaking and she’s just saying the truth. Isnt everyone bowing down? $1300 VIP tickets to her concerts, normal tickets that sell out in 0.3 seconds, adverts that are basically music videos with barely any mention of the brands (pepsi, h&m), the list is endless. I mean I can’t actually think of anyone who dislikes her (except possibly Rihanna). My point with this article, is that Beyonce is fucking awesome and she does her thing, she loves her fans. Bow down is her way of saying fuck yeah!

P.S. she also clarifies “don’t think I’m just his little wife” for all those people shocked about the Mrs Carter Show thing x
